Eagles Rest Cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a self-catering cottage, situated 9 km outside Greytown on the R74. The cottage offers beautiful views from the veranda and guest areas, and is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. From the veranda, guests can enjoy a stunning view of the dam and a variety of bird species. We do allow catch and release bass fishing during the day until 17:00. At 17:00 we feed our two resident fish eagles and guests can watch this while sipping on a sundowner on the veranda.
The cottage and the property are well-secured and there is an alarm system if needed. Limited undercover parking is available. Braai facilities are provided for guests use, along with wood and charcoal. The cottage has an honesty pantry and a limited honesty bar where guests can help themselves.
