Two-room flat with kitchen 300 metres from the ski slopes at Passo del Tonale Apartment on the second floor of a block of flats located just 300 metres from the ski slopes and ski lifts, shops and restaurants, ski school and ski hire at Passo del Tonale (Trento)
The flat is located in a block of flats with two lifts and wood-panelled communal corridors. The outer door and lifts are always open and available to tenants and customers of the building. At the back of the building there is a small parking area for guests. As it is forbidden to park for prolonged periods in front of the building entrance, in case the parking area at the back is full or still not cleared from a recent heavy snowfall, it is still possible to park along the quiet street in front.
The one-bedroom apartment, on the second floor of the building with a communal lift, has a surface area of 28 square metres and has two main rooms used respectively as a double bedroom and living room/kitchen, in which there is also a two-seater sofa bed. In addition, there is a bathroom equipped with a sink, toilet, bidet and shower. All rooms are equipped with radiators that can be controlled independently from the flat by means of a thermostat. The three windows in the main rooms are all fitted with triple glazing, curtains, blackout blinds, and overlook the village of Passo del Tonale and the surrounding mountains. The flat was completely finished renovation in 2018, with a modern and cosy design.
The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a bridge wardrobe, as well as a bedside table. There are spherical bedside lamps in the room, four-season duvet covers, and more blankets inside the wardrobe. There are several convenient electrical sockets for charging smartphones and other electrical appliances, and hangers for hanging ski suits overnight. While blankets and pillows are provided by the owner, guests are responsible for bringing their own sheets and pillowcases.
The living room includes a dining area with an extendable square table and 4 chairs, a 32'' TV fixed to the wall, two panoramic windows and a 2-seater sofa bed. The two mattresses can be used either individually or as a double bed, using the double sheets. Again, sheets and pillowcases are the guests' responsibility. Also in the living room, at the entrance, there are coat racks for hanging ski suits and coats, and shoe racks for dirty boots, which are useful for not soiling the flat during your stay.
The kitchen is equipped with pantry, dish rack, sink with a single basin, two electric hotplates of different sizes, and a small fridge with a freezer shelf.
The bathroom has an extractor fan and is equipped with a toilet, bidet, washbasin, cabinet with drawers, and a shower with an up-and-down shower.
The flat is designed for the comfort of a group of up to 4 people.
The flat is about 300 metres from the ski slopes and ski rental, which can be reached by a walk, the first part of which is uphill. Practically all the other important points of Passo del Tonale are also easy to reach from here: ski pass ticket office, ski and snowboard schools, shops, restaurants and bars, supermarkets, wellness centre, information point. For the supermarket, it is advisable to use the car for larger expenses, even though it is about half a kilometre away. The village pub is also within walking distance. In the evening, we recommend visiting the village of Ponte di Legno, where there is more movement in the evening hours, and where a few days a month it is possible to ski at night on the illuminated slopes.
The owner does not live on site, the keys will be handed over by the building's concierge. In case of late check-in after dinner time, the flat will be left open by the concierge, with the keys on the table and the heating on during the winter. For any needs or problems please contact the owner in the first instance.
Guests are responsible for cleaning the dishes and the kitchen table, while the rest of the cleaning is part of the service.
We recommend that you leave your skis in the car's ski rack, or for safety's sake leave them at the ski rental shop where you can use the ski room for a few euros per night. It is forbidden to bring skis inside the building. We strongly recommend arriving by car, equipped with chains or, better still, thermal tyres during the winter period. For diesel-powered cars, remember that overnight the temperature can cause the tank to freeze; before arriving at high altitude, empty the tank as much as possible and fill up with Arctic diesel (antifreeze).
