Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was lovely, room had a very nice terrace, breakfast was nice.

Negative: We reserved two beds and a terrace and prepaid for it on booking.com. They would not honor it and said they didn't have a room other than a single. What made me upset was that the older gentlemen waiting on us was incredibly rude about it and as I explained that is what was confirmed and he said " Well thats not our problem take it up with booking.com". I told him that I wanted to speak to someone who would be more helpful. He then got all flustered and said oh we can upgrade you to another room with twin beds but without a terrace. I did not see how that would be an upgrade. And the offer only came after I wanted to escalate the conversation with someone else. Additionally, we booked the hotel because it had a restaurant and we had been driving all day, he said the restaurant was closed for the season. Hence, as beautiful as the property was, service does make a difference and if he would have been understanding, it would have been a different rating. Booking also needs to make sure their information is accurate. So disappointed with both services.
