Positive: The service at the hotel was excellent — they gave me a warm welcome and were very easy to communicate with, as were the attendants and the building manager. They handed me the keys smoothly and without any hassle. I arrived early, and they kindly allowed me to check in at 1:30 p.m., even though the official check-in time is 2 p.m. The location is perfect — it’s within walking distance to uShaka Marine and close to the sea, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Negative: However, when I got to the room, it wasn’t what I expected. The cushions had an unpleasant smell and didn’t seem clean. The bed was uncomfortable, and I couldn’t put my clothes in the closet because of the odor. The extra duvet also smelled strongly of urine, so I couldn’t use it. Because of this, I wasn’t able to sleep there the following night and ended up staying at a friend’s place with my daughter.

Summary: It was fair.
