Positive: The apartment is beautiful, modern, very clean, and offers good amenities, like a well-equipped kitchen.

Negative: The bed did not work - the mattresses and frames just slid around while I slept, causing an opening between the mattresses that I would fall into. The bedframe situation needs some drastic improvement. I had a few issues figuring out things in the kitchen, like how to turn on the stove (lot of buttons, and it requires you to turn it on, then hold down a lock button [the part I had a difficult time figuring out], then select a burner, then select a power level... or something like that which was not at all intuitive) and how to use a pot (several have removable handles that you have to put on before you use them - I had never heard of such a thing so used them without, and there are no potholders, so I had a very difficult time). I can't really criticize the apartment/host for the location, but it does not work well without a car, despite having a bus stop a one-minute walk away, as the buses come less than once per hour. The terrace is fine, but I was out during the day and tried relaxing out there in the evening and it didn't work. There are two flood lights that are motion-activated, so if you're sitting out there after dark, you just get blasted between obscenely bright light and no light (it turns off fairly quickly without motion, like if you're just sitting). I would have been fine with no light, as there was plenty of ambient light, but there was no apparent way to turn off the flood lights.
