Positive: A great functional family run hotel for onward travel to the Lake (10mins drive). Really clean, spacious and comfortable. The lady that runs the place was so friendly and helpful - from being there first thing for the early ferry departure breakfast, to the evening meal run there too. She kindly let us use her washing machine which was much appreciated after our first week of travelling around as a family of 4. We ate dinner here and it was a simple menu but delicious. Parking there too is easy. One thing to note, it takes about 1 1/2hr to travel the last 25k to the accommodation from the main road (which eventually leads onto the lake) and it is off road to say the least… pot holes, unpaved and very rough with a few steep drops and hairpin bends thrown in. The road is under construction apparently, so scattered with JCB’s to navigate around too. It is definitely quite an experience and it is very nice to get out the car when you arrive! Lake day tour is well worth it with (amazing lunch!) and we paid the extra to visit Shala Beach (even if it is a little over touristy). We then took the Car Ferry to Fierze the next day which is another great experience too and incredible scenery.
