The alpine hut is located a few kilometers from your host family’s farm in Kastelruth (Castelrotto). A special permit to reach the hut by car will be given to you by your host family Jaider. An enchanted forest path winds its way to the alpine hut and the feeling of being able to experience a very special vacation brings a smile to everyone's face. The holiday home consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 5 people. The private outdoor area boasts an open terrace, and from the wide green alpine pasture you can enjoy beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and the Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi). In the town you will also find a lift that brings you up to the Marinzen Alm, which is a perfect location for hiking in the summer. Should you be visiting in winter, the nearest ski lift is in Seis am Schlern, which is less than 10 minutes (5km) away by car. The nearest airport is in Innsbruck, which is one hour and 45 minutes (110km) by car.
