Positive: Desert Magic Camp is an amazing place. If you want to experience Wadi Rum, in a relatively small camp, that preserves elements of the Veduin style, but at the same time provides all the comforts, beautiful, spacious rooms and cosy common areas, this is the place for you! We personally loved it, as we wanted to have a memorable stay in the desert within a beautiful well made environment but we wanted to avoid all the luxury camps (some of them very big as well) that make you feel you are in a Alladin Resort in Florida, rather than the most unique desert in the world. Desert Magic Camp has a very good spot in the desert, some other camps are visible in the horizon but very far away so you are able to enjoy the desert in a quiet environment. They offer a variety of tours that will cover all the preferences and everything is well explained in their website. We did a camel ride and the 8 hours jeep tour, both amazing!The members of staff are very friendly and ready to help you. Breakfast is ok, dinner is very nice, especially the traditional way they cook the meat and vegetables, which they also showcase and explain!

Negative: The only think that you need to take into account is the absence of air conditioning at the moment. The tents become very hot, there is a fan to help, but for some people this might not be enough especially in the very hot months. We come from Greece, so are used to cope with high temperatures, therefore this did not affect us, however it is something you need to take into acount, if you cannot cope with heat and you visit a time of the year that the temperatures are very high. If Desert Magic camp in the future provides air conditioning in all the rooms, then it will be the best choice of stay in Wadi Rum, a solid 10! We had an amazing time,we give our thanks to the staff and wish them all the best for the future.
