Positive: If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Dolomites to feel real South Tyrolian atmosphere and culture, this family-run hotel is the place. Everyone we encountered from the staff, from receptionists to cleaning staff were friendly, helpful, kind. The service and cleanliness is top notch. The breakfast was amazing and a highlight for sure. We really enjoyed our stay. Gais is a really sweet village, and well connected with pathways and bike lanes with surrounding villages in the valley. Great location for trips in the Dolomites (winter and summer).

Negative: It would’ve been nice to have a small fridge in the room just to keep a couple of bottles of water cool.
